§ 2.07. Unlawful Structures.

Any uses of land or dwellings; construction or alteration of buildings; structures erected, altered, razed or converted in violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared a nuisance per se. The Administration Official/Building Inspector is hereby authorized to apply to a court of equity to abate the nuisance created by such unlawful use of a structure, land or building. The owner or occupant of such structure and/or premises shall vacate the same within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving a notification from the Administration Official/Building Inspector. Such structure and/or premises may be occupied again only when it/they conform with the provision of this ordinance and further authorized by the Administration Official/Building Inspector. Service of notification shall be as follows:

Hand-delivered to the owner; delivered to a person of suitable age and discretion, at the owner's place of discretion.

B.

Mailed through the United States Post Office, to the owner at his/her last known address.

C.

Posted for twenty-four (24) hours in a conspicuous place on the premises to be repaired.
