§ 7.03. Petition for Amendment.

    A petition for amendment, when initiated by the property owner/authorized agent, shall meet the application requirements of this section.

    B.

    An application for rezoning shall be obtained from and filed with the Administration Official/Building Inspector at least twenty-one (21) days before the Planning Commissions public hearing. The applicant shall provide the following:

    1.

    The name, signature and address of the property owner/authorized agent.

    2.

    The address and legal description of the property under consideration, and copies of the most recent tax maps.

    3.

    The current and proposed zoning and land use of the property under consideration.

    4.

    The reason(s) for a rezoning request.

    5.

    Information on existing and proposed utilities, stormwater drainage and traffic control.

    6.

    A vicinity map showing the location of the property (drawn at a scale of 1" = 4' 0").

    7.

    A site plan showing the property boundaries, public rights-of-way and the proposed use and development layout (drawn at a scale of 1" = 4'- 0").

    8.

    The names and addresses of the adjacent property owners, within [five hundred feet] (500') of said property, as shown on the most recent records of the Jefferson County Tax Assessor's Office.

    9.

    An administration/application fee of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00), plus all costs of notification by certified mail and the publication/advertisement of the rezoning request.

    Note— When a petition for a rezoning is initiated by the City, Article III, subsection 7.03 B, item 9, listed above, shall not apply.
