§ 3.00. Word Usage.

In the interpretation of this Zoning Ordinance, the provisions and rules of this section shall be observed and applied, except when the context clearly requires otherwise.
A.

Words used or defined in one tense or form shall include other tenses and derivative forms.

B.

Words in the singular number shall include the plural number and vice versa.

C.

The masculine gender shall include the feminine and vice versa.

D.

The word "shall" is mandatory and the word may is permissive.

E.

The word "persons" shall include all individuals, firms, associations, organizations, partnerships, trusts, companies or corporations.
