§ 42-6. Same—Revocation.

  • (a)

    The director of public safety shall have the power to revoke any permit if it appears to him that the holder of the permit has violated any provisions of this chapter, or has misrepresented or made untrue statements in connection with the solicitation.

    (b)

    A permit shall also be revoked by the director of public safety if it appears that the permit is used, directly or indirectly, as an endorsement of the solicitation.

    (c)

    Whenever a permit is revoked by the director of public safety, the person aggrieved may appeal to the city council from such revocation within five days thereafter.
