§ 56-5. Same—Testing.

All water companies operating and doing business in the city shall cause any water meter to be taken out and tested, upon complaint of the consumer, upon payment to said water company of a fee. If upon test, the meter is not within three percent of being accurate, it shall be repaired or replaced and the fee shall be returned to the customer who deposited the same.
