§ 56-6. Same—Notice of readings.

Whenever any water meter in the city is read for purposes of billing customers for water consumed or used during the previous period, a written copy of said meter reading showing the then-present meter reading as well as the last meter reading shall be furnished the customer by leaving a copy thereof on the premises of such customer at the time such reading is made. The provision of this section shall apply only to customers whose meter reading shows an excess amount of water used since the last reading.
